Daylight Analysis

The 3D geometry model created in the Tas 3D Modeller is exported as a 3D dwg file. This file can be opened in any of several daylighting packages, such as Lumen Designer (from Lighting Technologies Inc.), AGI32 (from Lighting Analysts) and Relux. These packaged provide photo-realistic visualisation, daylight analysis and much more.

Daylight analysis can be performed on the rendered model to determine the daylight levels on any of the internal surfaces. The engineer simply places a calculation grid where they require lux level information and then runs the daylight calculation.

Luminance lux levels can be displayed numerically across the calculation grids. Daylight factors are automatically calculated by the software and can be entered in Tas to enable daylight control strategies.
