EDSL believe that the mixing of development, consultancy and software support leads to a focused software product, with quality support available to end users.

Tas Version 9.2.1.2

NCMActivites_v4.1.4

  • The NCM Activites database has been updated to version 4.1.4. The UK Building Regulations Studio projects will now only accept Internal Conditions from the latest database.
  • For existing projects, you must update the internal conditions in the source TBD, then choose 'Update Source TBD' when using the UKBR Studio.

UKBR Studio

  • The heat recovery algorithm has been improved to prevent heat recovery turning on in hours where it would increase the cooling load.

Performance Improvements

  • The Retrieve Results steps in the UKBR Studio is now significantly faster for large projects. In some of the projects we tested, the studio took several hours to aggregate building simulation results in Tas 9.2.1.1. This has been reduced to a few minutes.
  • In the 3D Modeller, the 2D grid is no longer shown using dotted lines, which will improve the display speed for some graphics cards. The user still has the option to revert to dotted lines in the Grid Setup dialog

Report Viewer

  • The Report Viewer will now generate reports from TSDs that have not been simulating for a complete year, allowing the user to generate reports from partial simulations.
