Output Filters Table

On the Tree View you will see a folder called "Output Filters". This topic describes the summary page that will be displayed when you click on this folder in the Results Viewer.

You will use output filters to select which parameters will appear in the graph and tables. You can create your own or customise the preset ones. You will have to decide which of the parameters you want to appear in the results, and whether the results will be for a particular surface, an entire zone, or an external condition such as wind speed and/or direction.

The Output Filters table will show the preset filters, along with any others which have been added by the user. It has two column headers, one for the filter name, e.g. "Temperatures and Loads", and the other for a description, e.g. "Selected zone temperatures and heating/cooling loads".

Left-click on the column header to sort the table alphabetically by parameter. Left-click on the column header again to reverse the order.

To change the width of a column, left-click and hold the left mouse button down while the mouse cursor is then moved to the line between the selected column header and the one to the right of it. Move the cursor to the left or right to adjust the column width, and then release the mouse button.

To change the width of the column to achieve the best possible fit, double-left-click on the line that divides the selected column header and the column to the right of it.

Double-click on a row in the table to open the details window for the output filter (see Output Filters for more details).

To create a new output filter, right-click on the "Output Filter" folder, and then select Output Filter on the context menu. When a filter is created, a new link for "Graphs and Tables" is automatically created, which is where you will go in order to view the results.
