Performance Summary (HDD)
On the Tree View you will see a Heating Design Data folder. This topic
describes the information given on the right-hand side of the screen when
the folder is expanded and you have clicked on "Performance Summary".
A table of results will be shown, giving the maximum and minimum values
for temperatures, humidities, and loads.
Along the top of the table will be column headers for VALUE, UNIT, ZONE,
DAY, and HOUR.
- Value - the highest or lowest value reached during the simulated
period.
- Unit - the unit of measurement with respect to the reported value.
- Zone - the zone name of the zone that the highest or lowest value
occurred in. For external parameters, the value attributed to 'Zone'
will be given as 'External'. Where the Value is found to be '0', the
value given to Zone will be left blank.
- Day - the numerical representation for the day of the year on which
the maximum or minimum occurred.
- Hour - the numerical representation for the hour of the day on
which the maximum or minimum occurred.
- hour 1 will be midnight to 1am
- hour 2 will be 1-2am
- etc.
- See Table 1, below, for the full list.

hours of the day.

The temperatures, humidities, and loads under measurement are given
below.
- Max Air Temp - the highest dry-bulb air temperature that any zone
achieved during the simulated period.
- Min Air Temp - the lowest dry-bulb air temperature that any
zone achieved during the simulated period.
- Max Humidity - the highest relative humidity of any zone during
the simulated period.
- Min Humidity - the lowest relative humidity of any zone during
the simulated period.
- Max Heating Load - the peak heating load of any zone during the
simulated period.
- Max Cooling Load - the peak cooling load of any zone during the
simulated period.
- Max Latent Addition - the most energy used by any one zone to achieve
its humidity lower limit.
- Max Latent Removal - the most energy used by any one zone to achieve
its humidity upper limit.
- Max Resultant Temp - the highest resultant temperature that any
zone achieved during the simulated period.
- Min Resultant Temp - the lowest resultant temperature that any
zone achieved during the simulated period.
- Max MRT - the highest mean radiant temperature of any zone during
the simulated period.
- Min MRT - the lowest mean radiant temperature of any zone during
the simulated period.
- Max External Temp - the highest dry-bulb air temperature outside
the building during the simulated period.
- Min External Temp - the lowest dry-bulb air temperature outside
the building during the simulated period.
- Max External Humidity - the highest relative humidity outside the
building during the simulated period.
- Min External Humidity - the lowest relative humidity outside the
building during the simulated period.
