Simulation Data

The values on this screen cannot be edited by the user. This topic describes the information displayed when you click on Simulation Data in the Results Viewer. On the Tree View, click on the Simulation Data link. You will find it just below the toolbar. The screen will display summary information about the Tas Simulation Data (TSD) file.

Building Name

This is the name that was entered in the Building dialog box in the 3D Modeller.

Building Description

This is the text that was entered in the Building dialog box in the 3D Modeller.

First Day

The first day of the year for which the TSD file will contain results.

Last Day

The last day of the year for which the TSD file will contain results.

File Path

The full file path and name of the Tas Building Data (TBD) file from which the TSD file was created.

If the TBD file has been moved to a different folder, then you will be able to reset the file path which is shown on this page:

• Click on the (...) button next to the file path to open a Microsoft Open dialog box.
• From here you will be able to find the folder to where the TBD file was moved, click Open to reset the file path.

Resetting the file path can also be carried out in the Tas Manager, provided the TSD file is not currently open:

• On the Tree View, click on the folder which contains the results file.
• On the right-hand side of the Tas Manager, the TSD filename will now be visible.
• Right-click on the TSD filename, and then click 'TSD...Fix TBD Path' on the context menu.
• If the file path doesn't need to be updated, then nothing will happen at this point - you don't need to do anything more.
• If the TBD file path has changed, then a MS Open dialog box will appear.
• You will be able to reset the file path by selecting the file on this dialog and then clicking Open.
