Output selections are used to determine for which zone or surfaces results will be displayed.
On the Tree View, click on the '+' symbol for the Output Selection folder. A list of ready-made output selections will be available for you to click on. Each of the output selection profiles will contain zone groups, zones, and a facility for adding surfaces. A profile for each zone group in the TBD file is automatically created when a simulation is run. A profile called "All Zones" will also have been created, it will contain all zones that are output from the TBD file.
The Output Selection screen has the following parameters:
Name
The name the user or software has given to the profile.
Description
Details about the profile (optional).
Start Day
This is the first day for which results will be displayed. This value can be edited on the Graphs and Tables screen.
End Day
This is the last day for which results will be displayed. This value can be edited on the Graphs and Tables screen.
Zones
A list of zone names, zone numbers and descriptions for members of the output selection.
To add a zone to the output selection profile, see the Zones Table section. To remove a zone from the output selection, left-click on its row in the Zones list box, and then press the <Delete> key on your keyboard.
Zone Groups
A list of zone group names, group numbers and descriptions for members of the output selection.
To add a zone group to the output selection, see the Zone Groups Table section. To remove a zone group from the output selection, left-click on its row in the Zone Groups list box, and then press the <Delete> key.
Deleting a Zone Group does not remove the zones of the zone group from the output selection.
Surfaces
A list of surfaces for the zones in the output selection. The columns of the Surfaces list box are the same as those from the Zone Details screen. For more details, go to the Zones section in the manual.
To add a surface to the output selection, read the Zones section in the manual. To remove a surface from the output selection, left-click on its row in the Surfaces list box, and then press the <Delete> key.
